Two centuries ago, Polish nobleman Count Waclaw Rzewuski, made his journey of discovery into the heartland of what is today Saudi Arabia. His magnificently illustrated chronicle of the sojourn proves the Count's respect for, and fascination with, this country and its peoples, as well as his unyielding determination in finding reliable business partners here.

The same spirit inspires the Polish Embassy in Riyadh, which was established in 1998. I hope that this website will enhance the present friendship that exists between both our great nations, strongly rooted as it is in the splendid past, and will lead to fruitful cooperation based on common interests and mutual respect.
